How it works & the fine print
Each team has a share of “resources” (overs left × wickets in hand). The revised target is the first score scaled by the two teams' resources — Team 1 score × (2nd team resources ÷ 1st team resources), then +1 to win. If the 2nd team ends with more resources, the target adds G50 × (difference); G50 is the average 50-over total (245).
This is the Duckworth–Lewis Standard Edition, using the official ICC over-by-over resource table — the version intended for club and associate cricket. Top-level professional matches use the ICC's Professional Edition (DLS)with proprietary tables this tool doesn't reproduce, so its targets can differ slightly. Always confirm the result with your match officials.
