How cricket points tables work
A league table ranks teams by the points they earn from each match. In most limited-overs competitions a win is worth 2 points, a tie or a rained-off no-result is worth 1, and a loss earns nothing. Add those up across the season and you have a team's total — the number that decides the standings.
How to calculate points
The formula is points = (wins × win value) + (ties × tie value) + (no-results × no-result value). Losses add nothing. Enter your results and the point values your competition uses, and the calculator adds them up along with matches played and win rate.
What decides ties in the table?
