Playing XI selection

Cricket Playing XI Selection

Pick your cricket Playing XI from the players who are eligible and available, assign the captain, vice-captain and wicket-keeper, then publish the side and export a team sheet — all in CricKizuna.

How Playing XI selection works

  1. 01
    Collect availability

Players mark themselves available or unavailable for the match by a deadline.

  2. 02
    See the eligible pool

The pool narrows to players who are both eligible for the fixture and available.

  3. 03
    Pick your XI

Choose your eleven from that pool — no chasing replies or cross-checking spreadsheets.

  4. 04
    Assign roles

Set the captain, vice-captain and wicket-keeper, with an acting captain if needed.

  5. 05
    Publish and export

Publish the XI to the team as a broadcast and export a match team sheet for the scorers.

Selection driven by availability

The hardest part of picking a side is knowing who can actually play. CricKizuna ties selection to player availability: players respond by a deadline, the captain sees a live count, and only available players appear when it's time to choose the eleven. No more building a side around a WhatsApp thread.
